OLD CAPITOL BUILDING
Olympia, Washington
Originally built in 1892 and designed by architect Willis Ritchie, the Old Capitol Building project was a renovation of this unreinforced masonry structure. The project required innovative solutions to technical and spacial requirements that respected and preserved the spirit and significance of the building's heritage. Currently the building houses offices for the State Superintendent of Public Instruction.
