ROXBURY VILLAGE: LONGFELLOW COURT and WESTWOOD COURT
Seattle, Washington

Roxbury Village consists of two separate projects. The north half of the site is a 45-unit townhouse development with two Mutual Housing groups, Longfellow Court and Westwood Court, and was developed by LATCH with the Seattle Housing Authority as a partner/owner of 15 units. The second project is the renovation of and addition to an existing circa-1960 midrise apartment tower, to be named Westwood Heights after completion, located on the south edge of the site.

The unusual design approach to this project resulted from extensive local community and Roxbury resident input to the design team at workshops and charrettes held on site. The design incorporates the restoration of the wetlands and pond located on the north end of the property and in adjacent Roxhill Park.
