AKI KUROSE VILLAGE
North 115th Street & Stone Avenue North
Seattle, Washington

Aki Kurose Village consists of 62 low income one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom family townhomes and flats. Concluded in two construction phases, the Village's design criteria called for as many ground-related units as possible in order to establish a sense of community within the complex. Another priority was to save many of the 100-year-old Madrona trees located on site. Generous porches and street entries give a sense of individuality to each home.
