Guadalupe Vista:
Located in the Hilltop
neighborhood of Tacoma, the development will have views of downtown
and Mt. Rainier. Guadalupe Vista will provide fifty-one units of
permanent housing, primarily for homeless families and
individuals. The building will have four stories of residential
units over a single level of underground parking, a
multi-purpose Community Room, outdoor patio, staff offices for
resident services and a landscaped courtyard.
The large courtyard
will provide outdoor gathering and play space dedicated to
residents. It will include a play area for children and on-site
gardens and planter beds for residents. Accessible units will be
provided and an elevator will serve all five levels. The new
building is designed to reflect the character of the historic
Hilltop neighborhood.
